In 1947, Luigi De Filippo, a determined and ambitious Friulian from Osoppo (UD) established DE FILIPPO LUIGI Srl. This company became the first in Piedmont to be appointed as a "DEALER" by SKF (then RIV-SKF), setting itself apart from the traditional hardware stores with its high-quality products. In addition, it began to market ROTEN and CYCLAM mechanical seals a few years later.
