In the late 1960s, Vincenzo Megna had the vision to merge his mechanical turning company with a store that sold materials used in the same industry. With his expertise, he sought to provide items that were not easily available but were crucial for industrial maintenance. In 1974, his two sons, Luciano and Roberto, joined the business full-time after graduating. By the end of 1975, the commercial and artisanal divisions were separated when they moved to a new facility of 250m2. This marked the beginning of the company's expansion and specialization in a wider selection of products. In 1984, the Megna family relocated again to a new location in the city's industrial suburb, leading to an even greater increase in their market share. In 1986, the original business was established as a SAS, yet still kept its family-run characteristics.
