Mounted on a gold chassis, the compact M1 has a smaller footprint than competitive units with the same current rating. In addition, setting the M1 for use with small horsepower motors (1/20 to 1HP) is easy with a jumper that is provided. When installed, the jumper sets the trimmer pot tuning ranges to a level appropriate for smaller motors. The M1 has a programmable chip that sets the range for the acceleration, deceleration, current limit and IR compensation trimmer pots. The ranges can be pre-programmed by the factory to accommodate specific application requirements. With a custom program the trimmer pots can be eliminated if desired to prevent user adjustment. The M1 has a safety feature not found on many other drives. After any motor stall, the M1 will ramp to the set speed following the acceleration setting instead of ramping up at an unsafe, uncontrolled rate. Other features include a wider than typical IR compensation adjustment range allowing for finer tuning of more motor types and two choices for connecting to the inhibit (start/stop control) function. Connect using the plug and cable assembly 201-0024 or simply connect to spade terminals. With so many features in such a compact size, the M1 is ideal for both OEMs and users in a wide variety of applications.

The MGB400 Series is a microprocessor-based, fully regenerative SCR control designed to provide basic but scalable function at very economical price points. Gone is the traditional ‘adder card’ that contained logic. That has reduced overall height by 33%, thus fitting into control panel space that most regenerative SCRs cannot. The MGB400 maintains the traditional ACE footprint and mounting pattern, making it easy for existing regenerative drive users to upgrade. The MGB400 was designed with the idea of customization for OEMs, with 4 trim pots and several inputs eligible for modification to suite your needs. Standard MGB400’s can perform speed or torque mode. The drive can accept a bidirectional signal, or provides a jumper so that bidirectional control can be achieved using only a unidirectional signal.

This light-weight compact drive controls DC brush type motors ranging from 1/8 to 1/4 HP, without any additional components required. Reduced circuitry allows the cost to decrease significantly and also lends to a very compact package, ideal for original equipment manufacturers. A prewired removable terminal barrier eliminates nearly half of the wiring required for other drives. Using full-wave rectification of the AC line input, these SCR drives provide a moderate 20:1 speed range. The MM31750B drive has a speed potentiometer rigidly mounted to an L-bracket on the circuit board.

Minarik Drives expanded the XP series of low-cost, high-performance, pulse-width-modulation (PWM) DC drives to offer the PCMXP05-115AC, which accepts any external analog process control signal from 0 to 10VDC. Users can operate the drives in two distinct modes: manual mode using normal potentiometer operation or signal mode: operation from an external signal input only. Standard XP drives are versatile and accept any voltage ranging from 70 to 130VAC. XP drives contain a unipolar power supply, which enables them to accept any DC volage input between 100 and 160VDC. Users, after proper calibration, can operate many low voltage motors without additional circuitry. The PCMXP05-115AC yields a constant 1.05 form factor or less over the entire 80:1 speed range resulting in smooth, quiet, cool and low maintenance motor operation.
