The SV series employs a multi-connector instead of the conventional lead wires for internal manifold wiring. By connecting each block with a connector, changes to manifold stations are greatly simplified. Cassette base type manifolds offer the ultimate in flexibility. Manifold sections can be added using a simple release mechanism. Conventional tie-rod base type manifolds are also available. The use of 34 pin connectors allows up to 16 stations with double solenoids.

The EX600 serial interface offers a full suite of diagnostics and programmable parameters to meet the most stringent requirements. The EX600 offers excellent flexibility including digital input, digital output and analog input unit options. With the use of D-sub output blocks, a maximum of 9 remote D-sub manifolds can be attached to one EX600 communication module. This serial interface is compatible with series SV1000/2000/3000, VQC1000/2000/4000, S0700 and the new SY series valves. Available protocols include PROFIBUS-DP , DeviceNet , CC-Link, Ethernet I/P and EtherCAT , PROFINET, POWELINK and CC-Link IE Field

SMC S new AC-B series of modular type F.R.L. unit is available in six basic sizes and is interchangeable with the existing modular AC line. The AC-B series has a maximum set pressure of 125 psi and offers embedded gauge and pressure switch options not found in the AC-A. The element and bowl on the AF series is now one-piece, making element replacement easier. Required maintenance space has been reduced by as much as 46% on the AFseries, depending on the body size. Bowls on size 30 and up are now covered with a transparent bowl guard, completely protecting them from the enviromnent, and making the interior contents visible from 360 degrees. The base color of the new AC-B is uban white, maintaining a clean, modern look.

The CRA1-Z rack and pinion actuator offers compact auto switches which can be mounted from the front with width reduction by 14mm. Bore sizes on standard model are 30, 50, 63, 80, and 100mm. The angle adjustable type, CRA1**U-Z, has been added to the line in bore sizes 50, 63, 80 and 100. Units may be ordered auto-switch capable and with replaceable cushions. Many variations of the shaft types are available.

Series VR1210/1200 shuttle valve is a 3 ported valve with one output and 2 pneumatic signal and input ports. Output is always supplied by high pressure inlet. The VR12**F series are interrupters for control of air pressure signal system lines. Piping is possible in any position and the one-touch fittings make piping connections simple. Time delay valve series VR2110 with its combination of adjustable orifice and fixed flow allows transmission of a pneumatic signal after a fixed time period.

Series VFR consists of 5 port pilot solenoid valves with rubber seals and base mounted type manifolds, available in plug-in and non plug-in styles. Port sizes range from 1/8 to 1/2 with Rc(PT), NPTF G(PF) thread types available. Various options also available.

AS speed controller tamper proof and flat head screwdriver adjust variants require a tool to change settings.

CP96, profile tube design ISO cylinder with enclosed tie rods, is available in 6 bore sizes from 32 to 125mm. High accuracy covers and tie rod nuts improve mounting accuracy and extend the cylinder life. Increasing the precision of the bushing and piston rod, as well as reducing tolerances, has decreased the deflection of the piston rod. Standard strokes range from 25 to 800mm.

The new VM100/200 series is now more lightweight and compact than the conventional model. The series has a variety of actuator types to choose from. Also, with piping options of side ported and bottom ported, it is now possible to choose the mounting method with the side ported.
