SMC

The MGP-AZ is a compact body actuator integrated with internal guide shafts to isolate the load bearing from the movement of the actuator s rod and seals. The air cushions allow the guided cylinder to absorb nearly three times as much kinetic energy as standard rubber bumpers while suppressing noise and vibration at the stroke end. The (A) press fitted high precision ball bushing is suitable for minimizing the actuator s plate displacement. The (L) high precision ball bushing allows for smooth operation that ensures stable travel resistance, suitable for pushing and lifting applications. The (M) carbon steel alloy slide bearing provides lateral stability protecting it from side load impacts, suitable for stopping applications.

SMC s CJP series single acting pin cylinder s compact design minimizes mounting space. To accommodate many design styles, the CJP is available in five mounting styles: basic nose, foot, flange, clevis, and trunnion. An auto switch capable model is also available. Available bore sizes include 6, 10, and 15mm with strokes ranging from 5 to 30mm. Other features include brass panel mounting nuts, stainless steel piston rod, and brass bodies.

PSE560 and 564 are remote pressure sensors with an analog V or mA signal output. PSE56* sensors measure pressure of any liquid or gas non-corrosive to 316L stainless steel. 560 is for a standard pneumatic system s pressure range, while the 564 model is for low pressure. An accuracy of 1% of the full scale rated pressure range is suitable for general purpose applications. Includes a fixed cable with field wired connector option. PSE560 and PSE564 are UL/CSA, CE and RoHS compliant, with IP65 enclosure ratings.

The CQS single rod, double acting version of the compact cylinder is available for those small bore cylinder applications where saving space is a concern. The CQS offers standard long strokes (up to 300mm) in four bore sizes from 12 to 25mm. Long stroke versions incorporate a wear band and thicker piston to handle the increased bearing needs of the longer strokes. Both switch capable and non-switch capable body styles are the same, and switches can be mounted on three (12-16 bore) and four (20-25 bore) sides.

The C85K series single non-rotating rod, double acting, conforms to ISO 6432 and CETOP RP52P. The C85 is available in bore sizes 8mm through 25mm. A unique rod packing design prevents entry of dust and the effectiveness of the seal is such that the C85 is suitable for use in extremely dusty environments. With abrasion resistant packings and replaceable piston rod seals, the C85 offers exceptional service life.

S coupler series KK employs a unique connection method. A slim body design and large effective area are achieved with a construction that does not use steel balls or valve springs and therefore does not restrict the flow path. Together with a reduction of the body size, pressing parts and resin parts are used to achieve an overall weight reduction.

Direct air operated, 2 port valve series VXA can be used with a wide variety of fluids. Two body materials are offered: brass (C37) and stainless steel. Pilot port size is 1/8 inch. Flow rate ranges from Cv of 0.38 to 2.8.

PF3W is a digital flow sensor that constantly monitors water or coolant flow. PF3W refreshes the design and operating performance of the legacy PF2W model. The body is up to 40% smaller in volume, and requires shorter straight piping for improved installation flexibility. The upgraded 2-screen, 3-color numerical display rotates in both CW and CCW directions, offering improved visibility in a range of orientations. Two outputs are available, including two switch signals, or a switch and analog signal. Options include a mounting bracket, flow adjustment valve and temperature sensor to monitor flow and temperature simultaneously. PF3W is grease-free, IP65 rated, and C-UL-US, CE and RoHS compliant.

KQ2 one-touch, metric and inch size fittings are available in a wide variety of sizes, body styles and thread types. The use of a special profile seal allows the KQ2 to be used for a wide range of pressures from a low vacuum up to a pressure of 1MPa. The KQ2 release collar releases both the chuck and collet to provide a low disconnection force for easy removal of the tubing.

The AS speed controller variants with push lock allow for easy locking of the flow rate setting without a tool.

Standard double acting, single rod version of the CQ2 compact cylinder. The CQ2 is available in bore sizes from 12mm to 100mm. It comes standard with male or female piston rod threads. It is possible to mount auto switches on any of the 4 surfaces.

SMC S new AC-A series of modular type F.R.L. unit is available in five sizes and is interchangeable with the existing modular AC line. The pressure drop across the regulator has been reduced creating a more efficient unit with a maximum set pressure of 100 psi. The element and bowl on the AW and AF series is now one-piece, making element replacement easier. Required maintenance space has been reduced by as much as 46% on the AF series, depending on the body size. Bowls on the size 30 and 40 are now covered with a transparent bowl guard, completely protecting them from the environment, and making the interior contents visible from 360 degrees. The base color of the new AC-A series is urban white, maintaining a clean, modern look.

The MU plate single rod, double acting, cylinder, with its elliptical design, provides a low profile while maintaining force output. The MU cylinder can eliminate the need for higher operating pressures that may be required for typical flat cylinders. The oval piston shape also provides an intrinsic non-rotating function without having to use a rod with flats, offering increased bearing and seal life.

The AF bowl (size 30 and 40) is covered with a transparent bowl guard, allowing 360 monitoring. The modular design of the AF allows connection with other SMC air preparation equipment. The series is available in body size 20, 30 and 40.
