This product is part of the XCS range, an offer of safety switches for protection of operators and machine safety also. The safety switch is an electrical switch that makes or breaks contact in the presence of a magnetic field. It has 4 normally closed + 2 normally opened, slow-break, break before make contacts, normally closed contact with positive opening operation. It is a limit switch with a rated operating current of 0.55A at 24V, 0.75A at 240V and conventional enclosed thermal current of 4A. It is furnished with spring terminals for electrical connection and 3 cable entries tapped for 1/2inch NPT. The electromagnet interlocking on de-energization and unlocking on energization of the solenoid. It offers mechanical durability of about 1 million operating cycles. It is an IP66 and IP67 rated product. This key operated turret head limit switch has a slim metal body which is made of Zamak. Its dimensions are 44mm (width) x 51mm (depth) x 205mm (height) and weighs 1.1kg. It is intended as far as safety is concerned all dangerous machines in all sectors are involved, such as packaging, handling, robotics, machine tools, presses and the automotive sector.
