The B&R Automation Controller SX02 is a high-performance solution designed for complex industrial automation tasks. Featuring a slot for a bus unit with 2 PCI slots or 1 PCI and 1 PCIe slot, this controller provides flexibility for various expansion needs. It includes 512 kB SRAM onboard and supports both slide-in compact drives and standard drives, ensuring ample storage and processing capabilities.
With an Automation Panel Link slot, the SX02 facilitates seamless connection to Automation Panels via SDL, enhancing system integration. The controller is equipped with multiple interfaces, including 2x RS232, 5x USB 2.0, and 2x Ethernet ports, providing robust connectivity options. Additionally, it supports Smart Display Link/DVI/Monitor interfaces for advanced display solutions.
Designed for reliability, the SX02 features passive cooling via a heat sink, with optional active fan support. It includes a battery-backed real-time clock and power failure logic to maintain system integrity during power disruptions. The controller is compliant with CE, UKCA, and UL certifications, ensuring adherence to international standards.
Ideal for demanding industrial environments, the SX02 offers a high degree of protection with IP20 rating and robust operating conditions. Its durable construction, including a galvanized plate housing and dyed orange plastic front cover, ensures long-lasting performance.
