The Dungs VDK 200 A S02 is a high-performance valve proving system designed to ensure the tightness of automatic shut-off valves in gas systems. Compliant with EN 1643, this system operates independently of inlet pressure and is suitable for gases of families 1, 2, and 3 in gaseous states. It is not suitable for biogas, sewage gas, or landfill gas. The VDK 200 A S02 features a defined test procedure with a maximum release time of 26 seconds, and it displays tightness or leaks via an LED indicator. This system is compatible with all DUNGS valves according to EN 161 Class A and can be used with other valves meeting the same standards.
The VDK 200 A S02 is equipped with a motor pump that increases gas pressure in the test section by 35-40 mbar, monitored by an integrated differential pressure switch. The system is designed for ease of installation with electrical connections via screw terminals and a PG 11 cable entry. It supports a test volume of up to 20 liters and is suitable for use in TRD systems. The device is protected to IP40 and operates within a temperature range of -10°C to +60°C.
Applications include ensuring the tightness of gas valves in industrial and commercial gas-consuming systems. The VDK 200 A S02 is ideal for use in environments requiring stringent safety and compliance standards, providing reliable performance and peace of mind.
