The T3-3-8451/EZ changeover switch features a rated operational current of 32 A and is designed for center mounting. This device includes three contact units with a total of six contacts arranged at a 60° angle, maintaining a 0 (Off) position. Compliance with relevant standards such as IEC/EN 60204 and UL 60947-4-1 reflects its suitability for various applications.
Constructed from plastic, the switch operates effectively within an ambient temperature range of -25 °C to 50 °C, ensuring reliable performance in diverse environments. The device supports a rated impulse withstand voltage of 6000 V AC and has a mechanical lifespan of up to 500,000 operations. Additionally, it exhibits a degree of protection rating of IP65, making it resistant to dust and moisture.
The switch is equipped with a black thumb grip and front plate for user interaction. It is also rated for various operational powers across different voltages, including up to 11 kW at AC-3 for 690 V. Its suitability as a motor disconnect device aligns with common industrial practices.
