The Class 3400 Smart Meters (H34) support advanced dual protocol communications, allowing for simultaneous interaction with two energy monitoring systems, including building automation systems and energy billing programs, as well as measurement and verification reporting tools. This model includes a 4-line LCD display with backlighting, providing clear visibility of data under various lighting conditions.

Operable under a voltage configuration of 120/208-240 V AC and designed for 1 or 2 phase applications, this submeter can handle a current of up to 100 A. It offers high accuracy of ±1% across a load range from 1% to 100% of its rated capacity.

The enclosure is constructed from JIC steel, ensuring durability in industrial settings. The device functions effectively in a wide temperature range, with a minimum operating temperature of -4 °F (-20 °C) and a maximum of 122 °F (50 °C). The Class 3400 is also rated for operation in environments with a maximum humidity of 95% non-condensing.

With the inclusion of RS485 and Ethernet communication protocols, it enables versatile connectivity options. The model does not come with current sensors, making it suitable for applications where external sensors are utilized.
