IDEC HS5D-02ZRN

The IDEC HS5D-02ZRN Miniature Interlock Switch is designed for enhanced safety and reliability in industrial applications. Featuring a unique Operation Head Detachment Detection Function, this switch turns off the main circuit (11-12) when the operation head is removed, ensuring a higher level of safety. The HS5D-02ZRN achieves three contacts with doubled contacts plus a monitor contact, all within the same compact size as the 2-contact HS5B model, making it ideal for installation in narrow spaces (30×30×91mm).

The actuator is compatible with HS5B/5E models, and the switch features a double insulation structure that eliminates the need for grounding wiring. The operation head can be mounted in eight different directions, allowing for versatile installation options. The contact section is protected by an IP67 (IEC60529) rating, and the NC contacts feature a direct opening operation function compliant with IEC/EN60947-5-1. Additionally, the switch prevents tampering with a dedicated actuator as per ISO14119 and EN1088 standards.

Improved wiring is facilitated by M3 terminal screws, and the switch uses gold-plated contacts that are compatible with micro loads. This makes the HS5D-02ZRN a reliable choice for various industrial safety applications.
