This universal module is designed for connecting electro-sensitive protective equipment (ESPE) of type 4, conforming to EN 61496-1 standards. It ensures safe signal detection through two OSSD inputs and connects devices using M12 sockets or cage clamps. The module operates within a voltage range of 26.5 to 31.6 V DC and has a current consumption of less than 35 mA, classified under protection class III.
The AS-i electrical design enhances integration with automation systems. Input circuits utilize PNP technology, with an external sensor supply of 24 V DC PELV.
