This IO-Link input/output module is designed with a separate power supply capable of delivering a total current of up to 16 A. Each port supports a current rating of up to 2 A, allowing its use in safety-critical applications. The ports can function as both inputs and outputs, facilitating the extension of IO-Link masters with digital I/O capabilities.
With a comprehensive input/output configuration, the module accommodates 16 digital inputs and 16 digital outputs, all configurable to meet specific operational requirements. The input circuit is PNP type, compliant with IEC 61131-2 standards, while the actuator supply outputs ensure reliable performance.
Communication is established via an IO-Link interface, operating at a transmission speed of 230.4 kBaud according to the IEC 61131-9 standard. The module supports a minimum process cycle time of 4 ms and is equipped to handle a wide ambient temperature range of -25 to 60 °C, making it suitable for various industrial environments.
Protection ratings include IP 65, IP 67, and IP 69K, ensuring the module is resilient against dust and water ingress, even in demanding conditions. The housing is constructed from durable materials, with a weight of approximately 453 g and dimensions of 208 x 59.3 x 38.4 mm. The device is mounted via backplane mounting, and its connectors are designed for easy integration into existing systems.
