The Countdown Timer operates between 125-277 VAC at frequencies of 50/60 Hz. This device is engineered to replace standard wall switches, functioning without the need for electricity. It automatically regulates the ON time for various loads such as fans, lighting, motors, and heaters, contributing to energy savings.
Constructed with a plastic body and finished with a commercial-grade brushed metal look, the timer complies with NEC standards. It features a maximum countdown time of 30 minutes and utilizes an SPST switch type. The design is suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications, accommodating various lighting types including incandescent, fluorescent, CFL, and LED.
Moreover, the device supports a range of operational environments, with an operating temperature between -40°F to 120°F (-40°C to 49°C). Notably, it is not intended for use with loads such as sunlamps or saunas that pose risks if timed inaccurately. The timer is compatible with single-gang and multi-gang wall plate configurations and is certified under cCSAus and other relevant standards.
