The Keyence CA-DC40E Light Expansion Unit is designed to provide precise and reliable lighting control for industrial applications. This unit supports both constant voltage control and pulse-width modulation (PWM) with a light emission frequency of 100 kHz, selectable via the controller. It offers digital tone adjustment with 1024 levels, ensuring optimal lighting conditions for various tasks.
With the capability to connect up to two channels, the CA-DC40E can be integrated with both illumination connectors and terminal blocks. The voltage is selectable between 12 VDC and 24 VDC, and the unit can handle a maximum capacity of 30 W, with a total of 40 W or less across both channels.
The unit supports FLASH output synchronization and continuous light modes, providing flexibility for different lighting requirements. The light adjustment responsiveness is impressive, with constant voltage control within 3 ms and PWM control within 1 ms.
Forcible light OFF functionality allows for separate control of two channels, with an input rating of 26.4 V or less and a response delay of 1 ms or less. The LED display provides clear indicators for power and illumination status for each channel.
Designed to operate with a power voltage of 24 VDC ±10% and a current consumption of 3.0 A, the CA-DC40E is a robust and efficient solution for enhancing your lighting system.
