The Keyence ES-M1P Amplifier Unit is a highly reliable and versatile main unit designed for industrial automation applications. This amplifier unit features a one-line expansion system and offers a switch-selectable operation mode (N.O./N.C.). It includes a timer function with a 10-ms delay or timer OFF switchable option, providing flexibility in various operational scenarios.
The unit's PNP output ensures robust performance with a control output of PNP open collector 100 mA max. at 26.4 V, and a residual voltage of 1 V max. Additionally, it includes a disconnection alarm output with similar specifications. The ES-M1P boasts a rapid response time of 1 ms max, making it suitable for high-speed applications.
Temperature characteristics are maintained within ±8% of the detecting distance at 23°C, within a temperature range of 0 to 50°C. Sensitivity adjustment is facilitated by a 25-turn trimmer, allowing precise control. The unit is equipped with comprehensive protection circuits, including reverse power connection protection, output overcurrent protection, and output surge protection.
With a power voltage requirement of 12 to 24 VDC and a current consumption of 25 mA max, the ES-M1P is energy-efficient. It operates effectively within an ambient temperature range of 0 to +50°C and a relative humidity of 35 to 85% RH (non-condensing). The unit's compact design, weighing approximately 65 g (including nuts and a 2-m cable), ensures easy integration into various systems.
