The Keyence GL-R36H Hand-protection Type Main Unit is designed to provide exceptional safety and reliability in industrial settings. Featuring 36 optical axes, this unit ensures comprehensive hand protection with a detection capability of ø25 mm. The total length of 720mm and a detection height of 700mm make it suitable for various applications requiring precise safety measures.
Equipped with an infrared LED light source and an effective aperture angle of ±2.5°, the GL-R36H offers a detecting distance of 0.2 to 15 meters. The unit supports both optical and wire synchronization, ensuring seamless communication between the transmitter and receiver. The light interference prevention function further enhances its reliability by preventing mutual interference in up to two GL-R systems.
The control output features two transistor outputs with a maximum load current of 500 mA, while the supplemental AUX transistor outputs handle up to 50 mA. The unit also includes error output and muting lamp output capabilities, supporting both incandescent and LED lamps. External inputs such as EDM, wait, reset, muting, and override inputs are also supported, providing flexibility in various operational scenarios.
