The Keyence PZ-M71P is an advanced reflective sensor designed for precise detection tasks. Featuring a square cable and PNP output, this model ensures reliable performance in various industrial applications. The sensor utilizes an infrared LED light source and offers a detection distance of 20–900 mm with a matte white paper target. The adjustable sensitivity via a 1-position potentiometer allows for fine-tuning to suit specific requirements.
Engineered for durability, the PZ-M71P boasts a IP67 protection rating, making it resistant to dust and water ingress. It operates efficiently in ambient light conditions up to 3000 lux for incandescent bulbs and 20,000 lux for sunlight. The sensor's robust design includes protection against reverse polarity, overcurrent, and surge absorption, ensuring long-term reliability.
With a rapid response time of up to 1 ms, the PZ-M71P is suitable for high-speed applications. The selectable LIGHT-ON/DARK-ON mode provides flexibility in operation, while the compact and lightweight construction (approximately 70 g including the 2-meter cable) facilitates easy installation. The sensor is compliant with CE Marking and UL Listing (c/us) standards, guaranteeing adherence to international safety and performance regulations.
