The D fuse-system represents the initial generation of screw fuse systems adhering to the German DIN standard, which remains prevalent in numerous installations. These fuse-bases are specifically applied in low voltage distribution units, enabling personnel without specialized training to replace fuse-links safely.
This product range includes sizes NDZ, DII, DIII, DIV, and DV. The D fuse-links gG offer protection for cables and power lines by effectively limiting and interrupting excessive overcurrents and short circuit currents, up to their specified nominal breaking capacity. Additionally, D fuse-links gG safeguard equipment and installations from the dynamic impacts associated with high short circuit currents.
Operating at an AC voltage of 500 VAC and a DC voltage of 500 VDC, these fuse-bases comply with DIN VDE 0636-301 standards and are CE certified. The product supports a range of applications, including house incoming units, meter distribution units, distribution cabinets, installation cabinets, and fuse boxes, with ampere ratings between 25 and 63 A.
