The fuse holder supports either 1-1/2" x 13/32" (10 x 38 mm) midget or Class CC fuses, facilitating rapid installation through its design. The securing nuts or screws are captive, minimizing the need for additional components during setup. Each pole features three internal O-rings that create a waterproof compartment for the fuse, with colored O-rings (blue for single pole) aiding in quick identification.

Additionally, optional cone-shaped insulator boots can be added for an enhanced watertight seal, and breakaway versions come with standard boots. Both single and dual pole configurations incorporate a breakaway feature designed to safely disconnect the load in the event of a pole knockdown, ensuring that fuses remain encapsulated within the watertight holder on the load side. Once the pole is reattached, the fuse holder can be easily reconnected.

Key specifications include a maximum operating temperature of 80 °C and a short circuit current rating (SCCR) of 100 kA, making it suitable for various applications. The fuse holder operates at a frequency of 50/60 Hz and is constructed from polyethylene, offering durability and effective insulation.
