The DIN 43625 fuse-link provides reliable protection for high-voltage motors in switchgear and control systems. With a voltage rating of 7.2kV and an ampere rating of 400A, it is engineered to guard against short circuit currents and handle repeated peak currents during motor starts. The fuse-link's components are constructed from high-quality materials: the fuse elements utilize pure silver, while the caps are made from silver-plated brass, and the body consists of melamine fiber glass. Adhering to IEC 60644 standards, this fuse-link has a coefficient K of 0.51, ensuring optimal performance.
With a breaking capacity of 50 kA, the fuse-link effectively interrupts fault currents, while its minimum interrupting rating is set at 2700 A. The Limitor® series enables a high level of durability and reliability, making it suitable for demanding applications. Additionally, the fuse features a cylindrical connection terminal, facilitating straightforward installation with a clip mounting method. Its dimensions include a diameter of 88mm and a length of 442mm, making it compatible with various setups in high-voltage environments.
