The Murrelektronik M8 Male Connector is a robust and reliable solution for industrial applications requiring secure and efficient connections. This 3-pole connector utilizes insulation displacement technology (IDC), ensuring quick and reliable wiring without the need for stripping the insulation. Designed for a wide range of applications, it supports a connection cross-section of 0.25 to 0.5 mm², making it versatile for various wiring requirements.
Featuring a straight M8 design, this connector is equipped with a screw thread locking mechanism that ensures a secure and stable connection. The connector is built to withstand harsh environments, with an IP67 protection rating when inserted and tightened, providing excellent resistance against dust and water ingress.
The connector's materials are carefully selected for durability and performance. The contacts are made of brass with gold plating, ensuring low contact resistance and high conductivity. The locking material is zinc die-casting with a matte nickel plating, providing robust mechanical strength and corrosion resistance. The gasket material is FKM, known for its excellent sealing properties.
