The Omron NX-EC0122 Incremental Encoder Input Unit is designed for high-speed and precise motion control applications. This unit supports a single incremental encoder input with PNP input type, making it ideal for a wide range of industrial automation tasks. The unit can handle encoder input frequencies up to 500 kHz for phases A and B, and up to 125 kHz for phase Z, ensuring accurate and reliable performance.
Featuring a compact design with a width of just 12 mm, the NX-EC0122 is equipped with a screwless push-in connector for easy and secure wiring. The unit supports both free-running and synchronous signal processing, as well as task period prioritized processing, providing flexibility to meet various application requirements.
The NX-EC0122 is part of the NX-series I/O system, which offers a comprehensive range of units including digital I/O, analog I/O, encoder inputs, pulse outputs, and safety control. The system is compatible with EtherCAT and EtherNet/IP communication options, allowing seamless integration into existing networks. Additionally, the detachable front connector with screwless push-in terminals simplifies field wiring and maintenance.
With a robust design that conforms to IP20 protection standards, the NX-EC0122 is built to withstand demanding industrial environments. It also meets various international standards, including cULus, EN 61131-2, C-Tick, KC registration, NK, and LR, ensuring reliable and compliant operation.
