The extension module PSR-M-EM7-SINCOS2-SC provides a safe solution for monitoring critical operational parameters such as zero-speed, speed, and direction of rotation across two axes. It supports both NPN and PNP proximity switches and accommodates two sin/cos encoders, ensuring reliable performance in various applications.
Constructed for industrial use, this module features a TBUS interface and is designed to achieve up to SIL 3 safety integrity level, complying with Category 4/PL e standards. The device incorporates a pluggable screw terminal block and includes a TBUS connector for straightforward integration.
With a response time detailed in the user manual and a minimum restart time of 5 seconds, the module is optimized for rigorous operational environments. It operates within a temperature range of -10 °C to 55 °C and is designed for vertical or horizontal mounting on DIN rails. The housing, made from yellow polyamide PA, provides durability while maintaining a compact form factor with dimensions of 22.61 mm in width, 112.58 mm in height, and 114.5 mm in depth.
Additional features include a protective circuit with a suppressor diode, LED indicators for operational status and fault detection, and a maximum permissible conductor resistance of 150 Ω.
