The Smart Motor Starter Control by Schneider Electric offers advanced overload protection and a compact design, making it an ideal solution for efficient motor control. This tap-off unit is designed for medium power distribution and is compatible with both Canalis KS and KT busbar trunking systems. It supports TT, IT, and TN-S earthing systems, ensuring versatile application across various setups.
With an operational voltage range of 230VAC to 690VAC and a rated operational current of 100A, this unit is built to handle demanding electrical environments. The plug-in mounting mode with fixed polarity simplifies installation, while the white RAL 9001 surface treatment ensures a clean and professional appearance.
The unit provides protection for miniature circuit breakers (MCB), which must be ordered separately. Disconnection is easily achieved by opening the door on the right side. The IP55 protection rating conforms to IEC 60529 standards, offering high resistance to dust and water ingress. Additionally, the unit meets the IK08 standard for impact resistance as per IEC 62262.
Compliance with IEC 61439-1 and IEC 61439-6 standards guarantees reliable performance and safety. The unit is also part of Schneider Electric's Environmental Data Program, adhering to RoHS, REACh, and other environmental regulations.
