The TeSys Giga high power contactor is engineered for AC-1 applications and supports up to 275A at 440V with a 4-pole (4 NO) configuration. It utilizes a 24-48V AC/DC coil designed for low consumption, ensuring effective operation in demanding conditions.
This contactor features an embedded auxiliary contact block composed of 1 NO + 1 NC, enhancing reliability with a maximum operating rate of 600 cycles per hour and operational capabilities in ambient temperatures ranging from -25°C to 60°C. The product's mechanical durability is rated at 5 million cycles, contributing to its lengthy service life.
Standard features include Local and Remote Contact Wear Diagnosis (CWD) enabling continuous monitoring and providing health and alarm indicators. Designed for installation flexibility, it can be mounted in any orientation, and maintenance can be performed without disconnecting cables or busbars. The overload relay can be mounted directly beneath the contactor.
This device is constructed for ease of use with bolted power connections and spring terminals for control connections, simplifying front access for quick replacements. The contactor complies with IP2x protection standards as per IEC 60529 and VDE 0106, ensuring safety and reliability in various environments.
