The MN delay unit serves as an essential accessory for B-Frame Circuit Breakers, providing a fixed time delay of 200 milliseconds to mitigate the risk of unwanted tripping caused by temporary voltage drops. It ensures continued operation during brief outages by utilizing a capacitor system that maintains supply at voltages exceeding 0.7 Vn.
Compatible with various PowerPact B-frame ratings, this unit supports configurations of 1, 2, 3, and 4-pole unit mount as well as 1, 2, and 3-pole I-Line™ setups. The fixed thermal-magnetic trip units are available for a range of applications with current ratings from 15 to 125A, operating at voltages up to 600Y/347 Vac. Its interrupting ratings are rated at D-18 kA, G-35 kA, and J-65 kA at 480 Vac.
Notably, the I-Line construction of the unit allows for seamless integration into Square D™ panelboards and switchboards, maintaining the 1.5” pole width of legacy F-frame designs for easy replacement. The unit mount design is 30% smaller in size compared to previous models while offering 25% more capacity. Additionally, the innovative EverLink technology employed in the lug connectors effectively prevents loosening over time through a spring tension mechanism, ensuring reliable connections with fine-stranded conductors up to Class K. Furthermore, EverLink lugs can be configured with integrated control wire terminals, enhancing installation flexibility.
