The PowerPacT J series includes a three-pole UL 489 motor protection circuit breaker that, when paired with a contactor, forms a complete branch circuit. This two-component solution is designed to optimize panel space and ease installation.

This lug shield accessory features selectable trip classes of 5, 10, or 20, with adjustable short-circuit times ranging from 5 to 13 times the rated current (Ir). It accommodates various application requirements, from compact and cost-effective setups to sophisticated control mechanisms with predictive alarming.

The terminal shield is designed for versatile mounting positions, either upstream or downstream of the circuit breaker, and includes two parts assembled with captive screws, providing an IP40 cover. The top section is fitted with sliding grids to ensure precise adaptation to the cables or insulated bars, while the rear part effectively seals off the connection zone.
