This product is part of the XT range, an offer of capacitive proximity sensors. This capacitive proximity sensor has a cylindrical threaded M12 design and a fixed body. It is flush mountable and has a frontal detection face. It has 1 NO PNP discrete output and supports 2mm nominal sensing distance. This capacitive proximity 3-wire sensor has a rated supply voltage of 12V to 24V DC, with reverse polarity protection and no load current consumption of <15mA. It is furnished with a 2m PVC cable for electrical connection. This sensor operates in an ambiant air temperature from -25°C to +70°C. It is an IP67 rated product. The enclosure is made of nickel copper alloy. The length of this M12 sensor is 63mm. It weighs 0.070kg It is suitable for packaging, material handling/conveying/logistics, material working/machine tools, robotics, food and beverage industries This product is certified by CE, UKCA and cULus. It meets EN/IEC 60947-5-2 standard. A 90° fixing bracket XXZ12 can be purchased separately. This capacitive sensor is flush mountable. It is supplied with 2 nuts for an easy mounting. XT capacitive proximity sensors come in flush and non-flush versions M12, M18, M30, D32 and D34 cylindrical forms. XT sensors are dedicated to non contact sensing of objects in any material up to 20mm. They are designed for use in industrial applications relating to presence detection.
