The Schneider Electric XU Series Photoelectric Sensor, model XUB, is a high-performance device designed for a wide range of industrial applications. This sensor features a cylindrical M18 design, making it compact and easy to integrate into various systems.
With its multimode detection system, the XUB sensor offers flexibility in sensing different types of objects, including diffuse and thru beam detection. It supports nominal sensing distances ranging from 0.3m to 20m, with a programmable discrete type of output signal.
The XUB sensor is equipped with a 4-pin M12 male connector for easy electrical connection. It features three LEDs and operates at a rated supply voltage of 12V to 24V DC with reverse polarity protection, consuming a current of 35mA and switching at a frequency of up to 250Hz.
Constructed from 304 CU stainless steel and featuring a PMMA lens, the XUB sensor is designed for durability and reliability. It has an IP65, IP67, and IP69K rating, making it suitable for harsh industrial environments.
With dimensions of 18mm (Diameter) x 78mm (Length) and weighing just 0.055kg, the XUB sensor is lightweight and easy to install. It is ideal for use in material handling, packaging, labelling, assembly, lift, escalators, or food and beverage industries.
