The Sick i110RP Safety Switch i110-RP223 is engineered to provide dependable safety for industrial environments. This switch features 2 positive action N/C contacts and 2 N/O contacts, ensuring reliable operation with an actuation force of 125 N at 300 mm. It supports an actuation frequency of up to 3,600 operations per hour and operates in a single actuation direction. The switch is designed for use with cord lengths up to 30 meters.
Safety is paramount with the i110RP, which boasts a B10d parameter of 2 million switching cycles under small load conditions. Although the switch lacks internal fault detection, it relies on a connected safety-related logic unit for fault detection, ensuring a safe state in the event of a fault. The unit is designed for individual wiring with diagnostics, providing flexibility in installation.
The i110RP features a robust zinc diecast housing with a varnished surface treatment, ensuring durability in harsh environments. It meets the IP66 enclosure rating according to IEC 60529, making it suitable for a wide range of operating conditions, with an ambient operating temperature range of -25°C to +80°C.
Compliance with international standards is assured, with certifications including EU and UK declarations of conformity, China-RoHS, and cULus. The switch also meets the requirements of usage categories AC-15/DC-13 as per IEC 60947-5-1, with rated operating currents of 3 A at 240 V AC and 2 A at 24 V DC.
