The Siemens DP/AS-INTERFACE LINK 20(R) is a versatile gateway designed to integrate PROFIBUS DP with AS-Interface networks. Compliant with the AS-Interface specification V3.0, this device ensures seamless communication and efficient data exchange between the two protocols. With a robust IP20 protection rating, it is suitable for various industrial environments.
This gateway supports up to 62 AS-i slaves and provides reliable data transmission via PROFIBUS. It features a screw-type electrical connection for the AS-Interface and is powered directly from the AS-i network. The device includes status LEDs for easy monitoring and diagnostics, and supports configuration through a set pushbutton, STEP7, GSD, and command interface.
Designed for ease of use and integration, the DP/AS-INTERFACE LINK 20(R) offers redundancy capability when used with Y-Link, ensuring high availability and reliability. It also includes galvanic isolation for enhanced safety and performance.
