The crimp receptacle housing is part of the AMP Common Termination product family, serving as the female connector designed for versatile applications. With a configuration of 14 positions in a single row, this housing is compatible with a range of male headers, making it ideal for use in business equipment, industrial machines, PCs, printers, and air conditioning systems.
Constructed from thermoplastic, this housing measures 30 mm in length and has a width of 4.6 mm and a height of 6.6 mm. It accommodates wire sizes from 30 to 22 AWG and operates within a temperature range of -30 to 105 °C (-22 to 221 °F). The connector features a crimp termination method for secure attachment to wires and cables, while its inline contact layout ensures efficient power and signal transmission.
This housing meets various industry standards, including a UL Flammability Rating of UL 94V-0, and has an insulation resistance of 1000 MΩ, along with a dielectric withstanding voltage of 5000 VAC. The connector system allows for both wire-to-board and wire-to-wire connections, ensuring flexibility in installation.
Note that this connector type is not sealable and does not include strain relief, but it does feature polarization for proper mating alignment. The product is packaged in quantities of 1000, ensuring ample supply for large-scale applications.
