The Yaskawa J1000 Compact Inverter Drive is designed to meet all the requirements of compact applications where adjustable speed and energy-saving functions are essential. This versatile drive enhances machine performance with a range of useful features. It supports induction motors and offers robust overload tolerance of 120% for 60 seconds in Normal Duty (ND) mode and 150% for 60 seconds in Heavy Duty (HD) mode. The drive is compliant with cUL, CE, RoHS, UL, and UKCA standards, ensuring it meets rigorous international safety and environmental standards.
The J1000 operates efficiently in a wide range of environmental conditions, with an ambient temperature range of -10°C to 40°C, extendable to 50°C with derating. It supports a maximum humidity of 95% (non-condensing) and can operate at altitudes up to 1000 meters without derating, and up to 3000 meters with derating. The drive features IP20 protection (without top cover) and utilizes air cooling for effective thermal management.
With its compact dimensions of 128 mm height, 68 mm width, and 118 mm depth, and a weight of just 1 kg, the J1000 is easy to integrate into space-constrained installations. It includes standard analog and digital inputs/outputs, making it suitable for a variety of control applications. The drive also supports external braking transistors and standard motor thermal protection, ensuring reliable and safe operation.
