This XS flat (8 x 22 x 8 mm) inductive proximity sensor has a PBT case. It has a supply voltage of 12V to 24V DC. This general purpose rectangular inductive proximity sensor is mountable directly on a surface, with a single screw fixing point. It provides mechanical resistance and chemical withstand thanks to PBT case. It has a yellow LED for output status indication for easier sensor setup and troubleshooting. IP68 protection makes this product ready for the harshest environments. It can operate in very cold (-25°C) and hot environments (+70°C). It features double insulation for better people and system protection from electrical shocks. It is C-Tick certified.

This XS1 is a part of the OsiSense XS product range of inductive proximity sensors. Inductive proximity sensors enable the detection, without physical contact, of metal objects. Its range of applications is very extensive and includes monitoring the position of machine parts (cams, end stops, etc.) or counting the presence of metal objects. These sensors have high operating rates, fast response, and excellent resistance to industrial environments (robust products, fully encapsulated in resin). The sensor has an operating range of 0.04in (1mm) to 0.4in (10mm). The sensor accepts 12VDC to 24VDC power and provides an analog current output from 4mA to 20mA as well as an output state LED. The sensor is a flush mountable nickel plated brass M30 thread barrel sensor with a 16.4ft (5m) 2-wire cable. It is compliant with UL, CE, and CSA standards and IP67 rated. It is suitable for railway, mobile equipment, material handling/conveying/logistics, material working/machine tools, packaging, robotics, food and beverage industries. This product is certified by CE, CSA and UL. Inductive sensors come in flush and non-flush versions, M8, M12, M18, M30 short and long bodies cylindrical forms, standard cubic, rectangular and flat forms.
