Product Description
The Modicon M580 is part of the Modicon range, providing Programmable Automation Controllers (PAC) and safety Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) with built-in Ethernet. This communication module supports 3 subnets with an IP forwarding function.
It features 3 Ethernet RJ45 connectors for seamless integration, offering services such as bandwidth management, FDR server, Modbus TCP I/O scanner and messaging, EtherNet/IP I/O scanner and messaging, embedded 4-port switch, RSTP support, and IP forwarding. The module consumes 555mA of current and operates with an internal power supply.
Rated at IP20, the Modicon M580 is a reliable choice for medium to large process applications. It weighs only 0.2kg and is certified by CE and UL, meeting EN 61131-2, EN 61000-6-4, EN 61000-6-2, and EN 61010-2-201 standards.
This communication sub-base is compatible with BMEXBPxxx - Ethernet + X-bus rack.
