Product Description
The Turck TBEN-L4-4RFID-8DXP is a compact multiprotocol RFID module designed for Ethernet applications. It offers 4 RFID channels (HF/UHF) and 8 universal digital channels, which can be configured as PNP inputs or 2A outputs.
This module features a cable length of 50m and supports PROFINET device, EtherNet/IP device or Modbus TCP slave. It also provides PROFINET S2 system redundancy and an integrated Ethernet switch, supporting speeds up to 10 Mbps/100 Mbps.
Constructed with a glass fiber reinforced housing, the module is shock and vibration tested. The electronics are fully potted for enhanced durability. It comes with protection classes IP65, IP67, and IP69K, making it suitable for ATEX Zone 2/22 environments.
The module can store up to 128 bytes of user data per read/write cycle per channel, with the ability to use fragments and a FIFO memory capacity of 16 kilobytes. The data interface allows for convenient use of RFID functions.
In continuous HF bus mode, it supports up to 32 HF read/write heads per channel. It also features 4 channels with M12 connection for RFID and 8 universal digital channels that can be configured as PNP inputs or 2A outputs. The module is programmable via ARGEE.
