ÓAM Ózdi Acélművek Kft. is a premier Hungarian steel manufacturer specializing in hot-rolled reinforcing steel, round steel bars, wire rods, and welded reinforcing steel mesh. Located in Ózd, Hungary, the company operates as a member of the Max Aicher Group, carrying forward a 150-year local steelmaking heritage. Its modern production plant features an electric arc furnace with a 60-tonne tap capacity, a ladle furnace, and a four-strand continuous caster. ÓAM produces euro-conform B 500 B, B 500 C, and OAM 550 B rebar grades meeting stringent MSZ, DIN, and ÖNORM quality standards. The continuous rolling mill delivers high-strength ribbed rebars and plain round bars ranging from 8 mm to 40 mm, as well as high-quality wire rods from 7 mm to 14 mm. In addition to hot-rolled long products, the facility manufactures cold-drawn ribbed wires and customized welded wire fabric for structural concrete reinforcement.
