The WD2S Series disconnect switches are designed for hazardous locations, featuring a factory-sealed construction that eliminates the need for external seals during installation. These switches ensure safe circuit disconnection or motor control across various applications, with options available in 30, 60, 100, and 200 Amp ratings. Both non-fused and fused models are offered, though fuses are not included.The WD2S Series adheres to stringent compliance standards, including NEC and CEC certifications, ensuring suitability for Class I, Division 2, Groups B, C, D and Class II, Division 1 and 2, Groups E, F, G. Furthermore, it meets Ex de IIB + H2 requirements and is rated for Class I, Zone 1, AEx de IIB + H2 T5.Constructed from copper-free aluminum, the enclosure and cover are finished with a gray epoxy powder coat for durability. Additional features include stainless steel hardware and a robust cast aluminum operating handle. The enclosure and cover are coated with gray epoxy powder both inside and outside, achieving a NEMA 4X rating, suitable for harsh environments.The units are compliant with NEC certifications, specifically for Class I, Division 1 and 2, Groups B, C, D; Class II, Division 1 and 2, Groups E, F, G; and Class III. Additional options include auxiliary switches, breather, drain, external grounding stud, and plastic nameplate for customization.
