The S203-Z40 miniature circuit breaker is designed for current limiting and incorporates two distinct tripping mechanisms: a delayed thermal mechanism for overload protection and an electromechanical mechanism for short circuit protection. With a breaking capacity of up to 6 kA at 230/400 V AC, it is compliant with IEC/EN 60898-1, IEC/EN 60947-2, and UL 1077 standards, making it suitable for residential, commercial, and industrial environments.
This model is characterized by its Z tripping characteristic, allowing it to effectively manage overloads in specific applications. The product supports rated operational voltages of up to 440 V AC and has a rated insulation voltage of 440 V. With a compact design fitting into 3 modular spacings (52.5 mm wide, 88 mm high, and 69 mm deep), it is optimized for DIN rail mounting on TH35-15 or TH35-7.5 mounting rails, which ensures versatile installation options.
Notably, the S203-Z40 also supports a wide range of connecting capacities, allowing for busbar connections and flexible conductor options, making it adaptable to various wiring configurations. Additionally, it features a contact position indication for operational clarity and a mechanical endurance of 20,000 cycles.
