The Keyence GL-R08H Safety Light Curtain is a robust and reliable safety solution designed to protect operators from hazardous areas. This main unit features 8 optical axes and provides a hand-protection type safety barrier, ensuring maximum safety in industrial environments. The GL-R08H utilizes infrared LED technology to detect interruptions in the detection zone, turning off the output when an object is detected.
With a detection capability of ø25 mm and a detecting distance range of 0.2 to 15 meters, this safety light curtain is suitable for various applications. The unit's effective aperture angle of ±2.5° ensures accurate detection even at longer distances. The GL-R08H is equipped with advanced features such as optical and wire synchronization, light interference prevention, and multiple control outputs for seamless integration into safety systems.
Designed to withstand harsh industrial environments, the GL-R08H boasts an IP65/IP67 enclosure rating, providing excellent protection against dust and water ingress.
