The Keyence GL-R32H Safety Light Curtain is designed to provide hand protection with its 32 optical axes. This main unit is engineered for robust safety applications, featuring an infrared LED light source and advanced synchronization systems. The GL-R32H ensures optimal detection with a capability of ø0.98" (ø25 mm) and a detection height of 24.41" (620 mm). The unit operates efficiently within a detecting distance of 0.66 to 49.21' (0.2 to 15 m), making it suitable for various industrial settings.
Featuring IP65/IP67 protection, the GL-R32H is built to withstand harsh environments, ensuring reliable performance. The synchronization between the transmitter and receiver can be achieved through optical or wire synchronization, preventing mutual interference in up to two GL-R systems. The control output includes two transistor outputs, with PNP or NPN determined by the cable type, and supplemental AUX transistor outputs for non-safety-related functions.
The GL-R32H complies with multiple safety standards, including IEC61496-1, EN61496-1, UL61496-1 (Type 4 ESPE), IEC61508, EN61508 (SIL3), and EN ISO13849-1:2015 (Category 4, PLe). Its robust design includes reverse current protection, short-circuit protection, and surge protection for each output. The unit is constructed with an aluminum main unit case, nylon upper and lower cases, and a polycarbonate front cover, ensuring durability and longevity.
