The Keyence GL-R56HG is a highly reliable hand-protection type main unit designed to enhance safety in industrial environments. With 56 optical axes, it provides comprehensive coverage and detection capabilities, ensuring that operators are protected from potential hazards. The unit features a detection capability of ø25 mm and a protection height of 1100 mm, making it suitable for various applications where hand protection is critical.
The GL-R56HG employs infrared LED technology with a wavelength of 870 nm, offering a detecting distance of 0.2 to 15 meters. The effective aperture angle is a maximum of ±2.5°, ensuring precise detection even at longer distances. The unit supports both optical and wire synchronization, allowing flexible installation and operation. Additionally, it includes a light interference prevention function to avoid mutual interference between multiple GL-R systems.
Control outputs are provided via two transistor outputs, with a maximum load current of 500 mA. The unit also features supplemental AUX transistor outputs for non-safety-related signals.
