The Keyence LR-ZH500CP is a high-performance, self-contained CMOS laser sensor designed for precise distance measurement. Featuring a rectangular shape and M8 connector, this sensor offers a detectable distance of 35 to 500 mm with selectable response times of 1.5 ms, 10 ms, or 50 ms. Its robust construction ensures reliable operation in harsh environments, with an IP68 and IP69K rating for protection against dust and water ingress.
The LR-ZH500CP utilizes a red laser (660 nm) and complies with Class 2 laser product (IEC60825-1) and Class II Laser product (FDA CDRH Part1040.10) standards. It features a 3-digit 7-segment display for easy reading and multiple indicators for output, datum, and spot. The sensor's PNP open collector output supports various control applications, and its power consumption is optimized at 450 mW or less.
Engineered for versatility, the LR-ZH500CP includes advanced functions such as OFF/ON delay, OFF delay, and one-shot timers. Its environmental resistance is exceptional, withstanding temperatures from -10 to +50 °C and relative humidity from 35 to 85% RH. The sensor's enclosure is made from durable SUS316L stainless steel, ensuring long-lasting performance in demanding industrial settings.
