The Keyence PZ-G51P is a high-performance square transmissive photoelectric sensor designed for industrial automation applications. Featuring a built-in amplifier, this sensor offers precise detection with a 20 m detecting distance and a red LED light source. The PNP output and 2-meter cable connection ensure easy integration into existing systems. The sensor is equipped with multiple LED indicators for power, output, stable operation, and light receiving, providing clear status visibility.
With a fast response time of 500 µs and a 1-turn trimmer for sensitivity adjustment, the PZ-G51P is suitable for high-speed applications. The sensor supports both LIGHT-ON and DARK-ON operation modes, selectable via a switch. It also includes protection circuits against reversed polarity, overcurrent, and surges, ensuring reliable operation in harsh environments.
Built to withstand challenging conditions, the PZ-G51P features an IP67 enclosure rating and complies with IEC, NEMA, and DIN standards. It operates effectively in ambient temperatures ranging from -20 to +55 °C and can resist vibrations and shocks. The housing is made of glass-fibre reinforced PBT, while the lens cover is polyarylate, ensuring durability and longevity.
This sensor is ideal for applications requiring precise and reliable detection in industrial settings, such as manufacturing lines, packaging systems, and automated assembly processes.
