The Keyence PZ-M31 Square Reflective Cable Type sensor is designed for high-precision detection applications. Featuring an NPN output, this intelligent reflective sensor offers a detecting distance of 5 to 300 mm, making it suitable for a wide range of industrial environments. The sensor utilizes a red LED light source and includes a 1-turn trimmer for sensitivity adjustment, ensuring optimal performance in various conditions.
With a fast response time of 1 ms, the PZ-M31 is capable of handling high-speed operations. The sensor's operation mode is switch-selectable between LIGHT-ON and DARK-ON, providing flexibility for different application requirements. Indicator lamps for output, power, and stable operation ensure easy monitoring and maintenance.
Built to withstand harsh environments, the PZ-M31 features an IP67 enclosure rating, protecting it from dust and water ingress. It also offers robust protection circuits against reversed polarity, overcurrent, and surges. The sensor operates reliably in a wide temperature range of -20 to +55 °C and can handle high levels of ambient light, including incandescent lamps up to 5,000 lux and sunlight up to 20,000 lux.
Constructed from glass-fiber reinforced plastic, the PZ-M31 is both durable and lightweight, weighing approximately 55 g including its 2-meter cable.
