The Keyence SL-C12H is a robust and versatile safety light curtain designed for general-purpose applications. Featuring 12 optical axes, this main unit ensures high reliability and safety in various industrial environments. The device operates with an infrared LED light source and offers a detection capability of ø25 mm without the blanking function. The SL-C12H is equipped with a protection area of 265 mm and a detection zone of 220 mm, making it suitable for a wide range of applications.
The unit boasts an effective aperture angle of ±2.5° and a rapid response time of 15 ms, ensuring quick and accurate detection. The operation mode is activated when light is applied to all optical axes, excluding when the blanking function is used. The SL-C12H supports both PNP and NPN output types, which can be switched using the connection connector cable, providing flexibility in integration.
Built to withstand harsh environments, the SL-C12H features an enclosure rating of IP65 and can operate in ambient temperatures ranging from -10 to +55 °C. The device is compliant with UL61496-1 (type 4 ESPE), UL61496-2 (type 4 AOPD), and UL508 safety standards, ensuring top-notch safety and performance. Additionally, it meets EMC and EMS standards, including UL61496-1 and FCC Part15 Class A.
