The Omron E2E-C05S01-WC-C1 2M Proximity Sensor is a high-performance, inductive sensor designed for precise detection in compact spaces. With a diameter of just 5.4 mm, this sensor is perfect for applications where space is limited. It features a shielded design for reliable operation in various environments and a sensing distance of 1 mm.
This sensor operates on a DC 3-wire system and provides an NPN normally open (NO) output. The 2-meter PVC cable is oil-resistant, ensuring durability and longevity in industrial settings. The sensor's housing is made of brass, offering robust protection and stability.
Key features include a high-speed response frequency of up to 5 kHz, making it suitable for detecting fast-moving objects. The sensor also incorporates protection circuits to prevent failures due to wiring mistakes, including load short-circuit protection and output reverse polarity protection. Additionally, the sensor boasts low current consumption, using only 10 mA max, which is 2/3 that of conventional small diameter proximity sensors.
The IP67 protection rating ensures the sensor is dust-tight and can withstand temporary immersion in water, making it suitable for use in harsh environments. The bright operation indicators, visible from all angles, make it easy to monitor the sensor's status.
