The Omron E3T-ST14 2M Ultracompact Photoelectric Sensor is designed for high precision and reliability in industrial automation applications. This through-beam type sensor features a built-in amplifier and offers a sensing distance of up to 1 meter. The sensor utilizes a red LED light source (650 nm) and is equipped with a PNP open collector output, making it suitable for various detection tasks.
With its ultracompact and ultrathin design, the E3T-ST14 2M is ideal for installations where space is limited. The sensor's pre-wired model ensures easy and secure connections, while the M2 mounting allows for straightforward installation. The sensor operates in Dark-ON mode and includes protective circuits such as output short-cut protection, output reverse polarity protection, and power supply reverse polarity protection.
Engineered to withstand harsh environments, the E3T-ST14 2M features a robust polybutylene terephthalate (PBT) case and denatured polyarylate lens. It offers high resistance to vibration and shock, ensuring reliable performance even in demanding conditions. The sensor is also equipped with operation and stability indicators for easy status monitoring.
Applications for the E3T-ST14 2M include object detection, positioning, and counting in various industrial settings, such as manufacturing lines, packaging, and material handling systems. Its high ambient light immunity and wide operating temperature range make it suitable for diverse environments.
