The Omron E3Z-D82 2M Compact Photoelectric Sensor is designed for precise and reliable object detection in industrial automation applications. Featuring a built-in amplifier and a square-shaped housing, this sensor offers a sensing distance of up to 1 meter with a diffuse-reflective sensing method. The sensor utilizes an infrared LED light source (860 nm) to ensure accurate detection of objects, even in challenging environments.
This pre-wired model comes with a 2-meter cable, making it easy to install and integrate into existing systems. The sensor supports a PNP open collector output, with a maximum load current of 100 mA and a residual voltage of 2 V max. It also includes protective circuits for output short-circuit protection, output reverse polarity protection, and power supply reverse polarity protection.
The E3Z-D82 sensor is equipped with both an operation indicator (orange) and a stability indicator (green) to provide clear visual feedback on its status. It offers a fast response time of 1 ms max. for both operation and reset, and features a single-turn sensitivity adjustment for easy setup.
Built to withstand harsh industrial environments, the sensor operates within a temperature range of -25 to 55 ℃ and a humidity range of 35 to 85%. It is also highly durable, with an IP67 protection rating, vibration resistance, and shock resistance.
